Dalia, a prodigal artist in Texas in 1927, is forced to return home from her world travels to join her sister Ada, whom she abandoned years earlier in the small town of Floydada. The two sisters attempt to reconcile their relationship through their family store, which they turn into a Dada-inspired cabaret! Revitalized by their creative impulses, the sisters entertain their unsuspecting small-town, rural neighbors through original, avant-garde performance.
There will be a panel discussion at the event on September 14.
Tickets cost $20 and can be purchased at www.fringearts.com or 215-413-1318.
